Car Seat Safety
Is your child safely secured in the car seat?
There’s nothing quite as frustrating as installing a child car seat for the very first time, especially for a new parent. Did you know that over 80% of car seats are being installed or used incorrectly? It’s no surprise that even experienced parents, caregivers and service providers often have a hard time installing one.
Lusso Baby is happy to announce that we’re offering a series of clinics and workshops that teach the ins and outs of proper car seat safety and installation. We’ve enlisted the help of Certified Child Passenger Safety Educators KIDS IN THE BACK to provide the inspection and education clinics right in our store.
SPECIAL Registered attendees for Car Seat Clinics and New Parent Workshops will receive a $25 in store rebate. Rebate can only be redeemed on the day of the event with minimum of $100 purchase.
Car Seat Installation Clinics
Attend this event if you require child seat inspection and instructional support for installing or adjusting a child seat. Participants will receive:
- Hands-on instruction for installing car seat in your car.
A detailed information sheet, available for each age and stage of development, for attending families to take home for future reference.
When July 31, October 30
Cost $25 per seat and $40 for 2 or more seats, to a maximum of 4 seats.
New Parent Car Seat Workshops
This 1 hour hands-on workshop teaches participants how to:
- Disassemble and reassemble an infant car seat.
- How to correctly harness an infant.
- How to correctly install and use a child seat in a vehicle.An optional inspection of the child seat installation in a vehicle.
- A review of current British Columbia Child Seat Law.
- A discussion of crash dynamics to understand how a child car seat functions in the event of a crash.
- A detailed information sheet, available for each age and stage of development, to take for future reference.

Cost $20 per couple
